Available as dormant tubers (October to March).

Drosera rupicola is a tuberous perennial carnivorous plant endemic to the granite outcrops of the Western Australian Wheatbelt region. It thrives in the wettest patches of loamy soil atop granite bases, where winter rains concentrate and create ideal growing conditions.

The plant features a substantial basal rosette from which 3 to 5 semi-erect lateral stems emerge, each reaching up to 15 cm in length. These stems are adorned with oval-shaped leaves that possess mobile laminae capable of folding over prey, a trait that distinguishes it from other members of the Stolonifera section.

D. rupicola blooms from July to October, producing a profusion of white flowers. It was originally described as a subspecies of D. stolonifera in 1982 and later elevated to species status by Allen Lowrie in 2005
